Warm tootsies for you

I've been looking for another nana rug for quite awhile, to keep your tootsies warm in the changing room, and thought it was a lost cause but yippee-doo found this lovely one on Trade Me.
Made from beautiful floral vintage carpet, which even matches the large nana rug already instore, and clever Mandy has shaped it into a tiki which I think is pretty cute.
You can contact her on mandywilson@clear.net.nz if you want to know more or just come into emma and admire her handiwork!

new season collection

Being in the middle of 'redesigning' my website (with the talented help of the lovely Anna Stewart) my updating of the winter collection pics has been somewhat delayed-sorry:)
Thought I'd post them on here over the next few days so you can have a look-see at what's hitting the stores over the next few weeks.
The collection is called elle voyage and my inspiration whirled with thoughts of travelling, near and far, real and imaginary, whilst listening to French songbird Melanie Pain.
So a wee bit of French seduction has helped create this range and there's cosy and chic new numbers to ease you into autumn and beyond!
Hope you like,emx

The best knickers for Frockers!

After a fun day spent visiting my lovely stockist 'Live like Lola' in Blenheim (and squeezing in some valuable op-shopping time:) I was really pleased to come home with a new addition to the nana lounge.
emma is now the exclusive Wellington stockist of some fantastic, fun, form-fitting knickers
Fanny Adams
You may have spotted them at the Nelson Market, as they're a real fav with shoppers down there, and well-known for their great fit.
Two cool boy-leg cuts (one a half brief, the other a full) all in cotton/lycra and fancy but not frilly colours.
We chosen some of the more vintage-look combos for emma, here take a peek...

Clogs are go!

Having loved wearing my Funkis yellow summer clogs over the last year I searched in vain to source some winter clogs for my new season shoot which is themed on travel and our dreams and inspiration for these voyages.
On my online travels I did spot these hand painted lovelies that shoot Heidi from the hilltops to high fashion quicker than you can yodel and thought they are pretty 'spech' and worth sharing.x.

Pretty pretty things

I can't believe a couple of weeks have flown by since the ever so lovely and talented Ms Heleen from Ruby in the Dust was in town for Craft 2.0 and visited her exclusive Wellington stockist...
emma!
She came armed with special treasures so I've replenished my gorgeous vintage embroidered brooches stock and got some new cosmetic mirrors. They have such cute pictures and fabrics on their reverse that you'll smile even as you despair over your wind-blown hairstyle:)
Also each mirror thoughtfully comes with it's own braid trimmed felt pouch to keep it safe and sound.
While visiting Heleen fell for one of my 'if it's homemade it rocks my world' tees and wore it at The Dowse the next day. Looked great, thanks:)
